SUPPLY CHAIN/PROCUREMENT SPECIALIST
This position is responsible for monitoring quality, service and delivery issues of raw materials and component parts, and taking corrective actions as needed. There is NO QUOTING and NO SOURCING. You will be working with already established buyers. The position will also identify and resolve supplier and internal errors that result in budget or schedule discrepancies, and coordinate with departments and project managers as needed to identify and resolve issues regarding parts and materials delivery.
Major Functions:
Places orders to all suppliers with goal of 100% on-time delivery.
Schedules and confirms all orders within 24 hours.
Monitors, analyzes, and reports performance to follow the schedule of production activities utilizing information derived from material and production control systems.
Coordinates and collaborates with departments and project managers as needed to identify and resolve issues regarding materials and delivery.
Oversees, monitors, analyzes and schedules material for spare parts and purchased parts for our subsidiary utilizing our ERP systems.
Skills:
Ability to modulate a dynamic workload: from heavy multi-tasking during peak workloads to very focused, detail-orientated work during critical projects.
· Ability to change direction and handle multiple responsibilities and tasks on a regular basis.
Strong organizational and communication skills required.
Competent with computer software such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook) and a knowledge of MRP/ERP systems.
3 - 5 years supply chain experience.

Experience and Education:
A minimum two-year degree in Supply Chain Management or related technical field along with 3-5 years of experience in supply chain operations or 5+ years of related experience and proven performance in a manufacturing environment.
