Key Responsibilites
- Performs onsite routine maintenance checks
- Routine check-ins with building tenants
- Oversee and assist in the general repairs and maintenance on properties and manages services of equipment, as required
- Makes necessary service calls on equipment and/or makes arrangements for prompt service work
- Provide "on-call" response to support operations team during off-hours as required
- Capable of working with various vendors
- Monitor jobs to ensure quality and property compliance with job standards
- Gather bids and prepares estimates for costs of various jobs
- Coordinate activities with other trade areas, operations manager, or outside contractors
- Maintain records of jobs performed, the affiliated billing charges, invoicing and hours worked
- Recommends improvements, changes, or new techniques or procedures
- Must be able to travel to properties located across Colorado region to provide support which may periodically include an extended stay over a weekend
- Exposure to outside elements on a weekly basis to manage any necessary repairs on property
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise
Education:
- Associates Degree - Preferred
- HVAC Certification - Preferred
Work Experience:
- 4+ years experience in general building maintenance, carpentry, construction, or an equivalent combination of training and experience - Required
Skills:
- Knowledge of general OSHA safety requirements
- Demonstrated strong mechanical aptitude and ability
- Working knowledge of common hand tools and testing equipment
- Must be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with colleagues and internal customers, tenants, owners
- Computer skills and proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Strong understanding of Standard Operating Procedures
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and work effectively on multiple tasks in a fast paced, demanding environment
- Be dependable and reliable and follow through on commitments, producing timely work to required or higher standards, and pitching in to get the job completed
- Self-starter, able to work with minimal supervision
Benefits
- Compensation: $60,000 - $70,000 / year
- Eligible for discretionary benefits: performance bonus
