Job Overview:
Morning Star Village is seeking a customer service oriented candidate to offer hospitality to all who enter our assisted living community, as well as monitoring anyone entering and exiting the community to provide security to our residents and staff.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Ensuring that all visitors follow proper protocol when arriving for indoor visits, as well as during visits.
- Answering all calls promptly and courteously, directing calls to the proper department, and relaying any messages.
- Record any maintenance requests from the residents, families or staff and relay to the proper department.
- Record and secure accurate payment for any resident amenities such as guest meal tickets, gift shop purchases and rent invoices.
- Maintain professional conduct and follow confidentiality guidelines at all times.
- Clerical duties/projects as assigned by management team.
This position is M/W/F 4:30pm - 8:00pm and every other Saturday/Sunday from 8:00 am - 4:30 pm.
** MUST BE VACCINATED FOR COVID-19**
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a receptionist or customer service role
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact with diverse personalities
- Knowledge of phone systems and ability to handle multiple lines
- Strong clerical and administrative skills
