Position Title: Technical Resource Engineer

Hours: Full Time / 40 hours
Hybrid in-office / remote position; domestic travel up 10% to unanticipated client sites.
Job Duties:
- Present project-specific solutions to civil engineering clients/ customers as well as State Department of Transportations and City/ County Municipalities
- Responsible for promoting new and existing engineered precast concrete products to engineers, specifiers, end users and internal employees with strategic plan to grow market share.
- Work closely with Departments of Transportation and Local Municipalities/ Public Works on improving specifications for storm drain infrastructure
- Liase with industry organizations.
- Build strong customer relationships and deliver customer-centric solutions. Establish and maintain effective customer relationships.
- Present to key engineering entities as well as key trade engineering associations.
- Act as the liaison between the engineer and the sales and operations group.
- Responsible for the market development and education of the material specifying process and the introduction of new products.
- Organize and facilitate Lunch & Learn and engineering plant tour opportunities within the industry.
- Identify and attend trade shows relevant to the designated territory..
Required Minimum Position Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing, Business, or related field of study; and 2 years of experience in Marketing, Business Development, or any related occupation in which the required experience was gained.
Applicants must have demonstrated experience with:
- Precast concrete manufacturing processes, materials, and construction methods.
- Structural design principles, including loading and resistance factor design load calculations, reinforcement detailing, and design
- Preparing technical reports, presentations and specifications related to engineered products
- Concrete pipe material testing procedures and equipment
- Precast concrete pipe and alternative pipe material under American Society for Testing and Materials / American Association of State highway and Transportation Officials codes and
- regulations
- Conducting market research in the civil engineering and construction industry.
- Developing and implementing strategic marketing plans to promote growth in market share of Precast Engineered Products
- Generating leads and engaging with potential clients (State Departments of Transportation, Local Municipalities, or Civil Engineering Consultants) and projects within storm drain
- infrastructure improvements
- Safety protocols and practices in the precast concrete industry to ensure a safe working environment, at job sites, at manufacturing facilities/ operations, and while on the road
- Construction management processes and practices for the entire lifecycle of projects, including material selection and project specifications associated with precast concrete elements.
