Stat Clinical Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) to join our team. As an STNA, you will play a vital role in providing direct care and support to our patients. Your primary responsibility will be to assist with daily living activities, monitor patient health, and ensure their comfort and well-being.
Duties:
- Assisting patients with personal hygiene tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Monitoring vital signs and reporting any changes or concerns to the nursing staff
- Assisting with mobility and transferring patients safely
- Providing emotional support and companionship to patients
- Assisting with feeding and meal preparation
- Maintaining a clean and organized patient environment
- Following all HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality
- Providing specialized care for patients with specific needs, such as dementia care or pediatric care
- Familiarity with medical terminology for effective communication with healthcare professionals
- Documenting patient information accurately and timely
Experience:
To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:
- State Tested Nursing Assistant certification
- Previous experience in a nursing home or healthcare setting preferred
- Strong understanding of medical documentation practices
