Behavioral Health Therapist -LPCC /LPC
We are looking for a compassionate Behavioral Health Therapist to be an integral part of a small team of counselors to diagnose and treat individuals suffering from mental health disorders. The Behavioral Health Therapist's responsibilities also include referring clients for other services, monitoring progress during treatment, and creating a comfortable treatment environment both virtually and in person. This position can be performed on-site or remotely using audio/visual communications technology. However, onsite meetings and activities are required from time to time.
To be successful as a Behavioral Health Therapist you must be professional, keep all client information confidential, and work collaboratively as part of a team. A good Behavioral Health Therapist remains professional yet empathetic and makes clients feel at ease during consultations.
Behavioral Health Therapist Responsibilities include:
- Diagnosing and treating mental health disorders.
- Facilitating psychotherapy sessions with individuals.
- Referring clients for other services as necessary.
- Developing treatment plans with the client based on each client's needs.
- Monitoring and documenting client treatment progress.
Behavioral Health Therapist Requirements include:
- Master's degree.
- At least 1 year experience providing psychotherapy.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Empathy for clients.
- Confidentiality with client information.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $54,411.00 - $59,980.00 per year
