Position Overview:
We are looking for the best of the best - a Solar Closing Professional who excels in the art of deal-making and possesses an unparalleled passion for renewable energy. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the sales process from initial client contact to contract closure. This role demands a strategic thinker, exceptional communication skills, and a proven track record in closing high-value solar projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospecting and Lead Generation:
- Identify and cultivate potential clients through strategic outreach and networking.
- Collaborate with marketing to generate leads and capitalize on market trends.
- Consultative Sales Approach:
- Conduct in-depth consultations to understand clients' energy needs and develop tailored solar solutions.
- Articulate the value proposition of our solar products and services effectively.
- Proposal Development:
- Prepare comprehensive proposals outlining technical specifications, financial models, and project timelines.
- Work closely with engineering and finance teams to ensure accuracy and feasibility.
- Negotiation and Closing:
- Lead negotiations with clients, addressing concerns, and positioning our offerings as the optimal solution.
- Close deals efficiently while maintaining positive client relationships.
- Market Intelligence:
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes.
- Provide insights to enhance our competitive position and adapt strategies accordingly.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of closing at a high caliber (40-100 contracts) per year in solar sales.
- Proven track record of successfully closing high-value solar projects.
- In-depth understanding of solar technology, market dynamics, and financing options.
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
- Stellar analytical and negotiation abilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Psychology, Communications, or related field.
