Job Overview:
As the Human Resources (HR) Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the effective utilization of human capital within our company. You'll lead and support HR functions across our divisions, fostering a productive work atmosphere and contributing to sustainable growth.
Responsibilities:
Strategic HR Planning:
o Develop and implement HR policies that align with the organization's goals.
o Consult with executives on decisions impacting all management levels.
Talent Acquisition and Recruitment:
o Manage the recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring.
o Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs based on performance metrics.
Employee Relations:
o Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters.
o Address performance issues and implement improvement plans.
Training and Development:
o Collaborate with department heads and managers to identify training needs.
o Facilitate training programs to enhance employee skills and career development.
Compensation and Benefits:
o Assist with benefits administration, and claims.
o Ensure compliance with HR laws and regulations.
Performance Management:
o Coach and mentor managers and supervisors on employee engagement and performance.
o Implement performance appraisal systems and improvement initiatives.
Employee Records and Compliance:
o Maintain accurate employee records.
o Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
Conflict Resolution and Grievances:
o Handle employee grievances and disputes.
o Mediate conflicts and promote a positive work environment.
Community Involvement:
o Assist with planning, staffing, organizing company events
o Assist with sponsorships and charitable organization outreach
o May require working occasional weekends
Qualifications:
o Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
o Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR management, preferably in the construction industry.
o Strong knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
o Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
