Pay Rate: $15.60 Hourly
Part Time 20 hours- Monday-Friday 8:30am-12:30pm
GENERAL SCOPE: Transport residents/patients to and from nursing units to the Rehabilitation department(s) for therapy appointments.
EDUCATION / QUALIFICATION: Must be at least 16 years of age and have an age appropriate work permit if needed. Must be friendly and able to converse with those being transported, the nursing and therapy staff members.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Following the Rehabilitation Services appointment schedule, picks up residents/patients and transports them to the appropriate therapy department.
- On completion of therapy treatment, returns residents/patients to their nursing unit notifying unit staff of their return.
- Utilizes proper body mechanics at all times and incorporates all safety precautions in carrying out duties.
- All other job duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE: Willing to train.
