Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional front desk and administrative support in a medical office setting.
- Greet and assist patients in a courteous and professional manner
- Schedule patient appointments and follow-ups using medical scheduling software
- Collect copays, outstanding balances and process payments
- Maintain patient records and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Answer phone calls, tasks, and inquiries promptly
- Entering Charges -Rooming patients, taking height and weight -Documenting information into EHR
- Ensure the waiting area and front desk is clean, organized, and welcoming
Qualifications:
-Must be Cheerful, Friendly and a Team Player
- Proven experience working in a medical office or healthcare setting
- Proficiency in medical terminology and understanding of medical administrative procedures is a plus
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to provide top-notch patient service
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, particularly in urgent settings
- Administrative skills including data entry, filing, and general office tasks
