Experienced Property Manager to work directly with our portfolio of 15 residential and commercial buildings in New York City. As a member of the property management team, A successful candidate will work with a property team (including a field coordinator, Accounting, and maintenance ). MUST KNOW QUICKBOOKS (3+ Years)
The Property Manager will be responsible for communicating with all internal departments and reporting tenant relations and property activity to management.
Tenant Management | Operation Responsibilities:
- Oversee all operations including maintenance, lease administration, forecasting, reporting, collections, evictions, vacancy anticipation, marketing, lease renewals, service contracts, expense control, audits, etc.
- Maintain positive relations with all tenants and property staff
- Supervise day-to-day operations of all rental locations policies and procedures being followed. Communicate with property Super(s).
- Customer service. Provide customer service and communication to our residents and prospects to enhance customer satisfaction and increase renewals, revenue, reputation, and profitability.
- Attend project meetings to discuss property status
- Record Tenant's Receivable in QuickBooks
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as required
Property Management:
- Manage and maintain all aspects of the overall budget and finances for all units, including rent pricing
- Must possess working knowledge of principles and terminology in the property management industries
- Knowledge of Affordable Housing and Condominium regulation and filing
- Ability to multi-task within a fast-paced environment to coordinate a high volume of properties
- Knowledge and Proficiency in Buildium or AppFolio
- Knowledge of programs such as Section 8, HASA, HRA, Affordable Housing, Shelters, etc.

- Accounts Payable
- Proven experience and demonstrated ability to manage complex multi-projects.

Work Environment
- This job, within a Real Estate Property Management Company, operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and other standard office equipment.
Qualifications – Education, Experience, Certifications
- Education: High School or GED diploma preferred.
- Experience: 3-5 years of property management or administrative training or similar.
- Multi-language - Spanish speaking a plus
- Knowledge | Skill Requirements: Microsoft Office and other office equipment; filing methods; office practices and procedures; working knowledge and/or skill in word processing, spreadsheets, and other computer applications. Ability to type accurately, make accurate arithmetic computations, follow written and verbal instructions, and communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
- Other: Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization. Good organizational abilities. Excellent follow-through skills. Excellent work ethic; dependable and reliable.

Compensation
- Salary: Starting $60,000 / Annually
- Time: Flexible Day and Time Schedule (Minimum 5 Days - 30 to 40 Hours Per Week)
