This position is responsible for review and preparation of client correspondence as well as routine general correspondence; preparation and filing of new patent applications and formalities documents such as Powers of Attorney, Declarations and Assignments; Information Disclosure Statements; preparation of reports in Excel and other programs. The individual in this position will also be responsible for monitoring PTO deadlines, client deadlines, and attorney calendars to ensure that action due dates are timely met. Must be able to correctly interpret and follow special client instructions, and must be comfortable interacting directly with staff of all levels. Other duties as assigned.
Must type 50 wpm, have excellent attention to detail and the ability to work well with staff at all levels. Good verbal and written communication skills a must. Must have availability for overtime. Minimum of two years of IP experience required.
Ability to work remotely, after initial training period.
