Customer Service Representative
Perform an array of functions that may include receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse.
Essential duties and responsibilities
- Receive and process orders and quotes.
- Build and ship customer orders.
- Answer phones, Submit P.O’s, creating estimates and invoices, receive and process payments, conducting follow up calls.
- Organize files for open and closed orders.
- Work with accounting department, submit invoices and payment paperwork to accounting.
- Sort and place materials or items according to organizational standards.
- Maintain inventory counts and proper stock levels.
- Prepare parcels for mailing.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and work stations neat; Sweep and dust.
- Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness
- Wear the proper safety equipment.
- Scheduling truck pick up.
- Resolve any emerging issues from customers or vendors.
- Research New Products/Services
Qualification requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 yrs previous Customer Service experience (preferred)
- Good communication, organizational, time management, and mathematical skills.
- Thorough knowledge of units of measurement.
- Dependable and Reliable
- Inventory management, data entry and computer skills, Microsoft Office, QuickBooks (required)
- High degree of attention required to prevent injury to others; promote a safe work environment
- Follow instructions for operating equipment and keeping records
- Execute assignments in an accurate, timely and safe manner
Physical demands and abilities
- Frequently lift and/or move objects 10-50lbs occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100 lbs.
- Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
- Occasionally required to sit and climb or balance
- Frequently operate tow motor/forklift (experience preferred)
- Having a good sense of balance
- Having good eye-hand-foot coordination
- Ability to assess weights and judge distances and heights
- Ability to work in varying temperatures, depending upon season

Compensation:
$19.00 to start plus commission after 90 days.
