Job Title: Security Guard Field Supervisor/ Security Guard Site Supervisor
Supervision Experience is required.
We are seeking a diligent and experienced Security Guard Supervisor to oversee our security team and ensure the safety and protection of our premises, assets, and personnel. The Security Guard Supervisor will be responsible for managing a team of security guards, implementing security protocols, and maintaining a secure environment at all times. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and the ability to make effective decisions in high-pressure situations.
Responsibilities:
· Supervise Security Personnel: Manage and lead a team of security guards, ensuring they are well-trained, motivated, and adhering to client protocols, company policies and procedures.
· Patrol and Monitoring: Conduct regular visits to the facilities we service to inspect premises and ensure security guards are performing their duties effectively.
· Security Assessment: Conduct regular security assessments and risk evaluations to identify potential vulnerabilities and recommend improvements.
· Maintain Records: Keep accurate records of security-related incidents, equipment checks, and personnel activities.
· Customer Service: Interact with employees, visitors, and clients in a courteous and professional manner, addressing their security concerns and inquiries.
· Collaboration: Liaise with other departments to ensure the overall safety and security of the organization. Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary.
· Compliance: Ensure that security operations comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
Qualifications:
· Experience: Minimum of [5] years of experience in security operations, with at least [3] years in a supervisory role.
· Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Additional certifications in security management or related fields are a plus.
· Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate a team of security guards, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
· Scheduling: Must have scheduling experience
· Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with employees, clients, and law enforcement agencies.
· Problem-Solving: Quick thinking and the ability to make sound decisions in emergency situations.
· Physical Fitness: Must be physically fit to perform security duties, including regular patrols and emergency response activities.
· Integrity: Exemplify a high level of integrity, ethics, and professionalism in all aspects of the job.
· Knowledge: Familiarity with security technology, emergency response procedures, and relevant laws and regulations.
· Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with other departments and team members to achieve common security goals.
