REMODELING TECHNICIAN
Responsibilities- Restoration, Remodeling, Carpentry, Cleaning
· Restoration and remodeling- interior and exterior
· Perform a variety of work activities; full- and part- time hours, or sub-contract opportunities.
· Framing and insulation.
· Drywall, painting, staining.
· Trim and millwork.
· Interior cabinets and doors.
· On the job and industry training provided for restoration and remodeling specialty services.
· Project communication and coordination with property owners, insurance claim representatives, staff, and subcontractors.
· Obtain work agreements, perform restoration and remodeling services, gather materials, help facilitate project selections and change orders, and perform closing procedures such as final walk thru, addressing project punch lists, and obtaining work completion certificates.
· Help manage project delays by seeking solutions and following through with timely communications and work execution.
· General work hours Mon-Fri, 8:00am-4:30pm, some occasional on call work with a shared group rotation.
Preferred Work Experience- Restoration, Remodeling, Carpentry, Cleaning
· Experience with remodeling services; framing, drywall, painting, staining, and installation of cabinets, doors, windows, and millwork a plus.
· Experience with exterior repairs; roofing, siding, windows a plus.
· Experience with restoration and insurance claims a plus.
· Experience with written and verbal communications a plus.
· Background checks required.
· Willingness to learn; on the job and industry training is provided.

· Full- and part- time hours available along with sub-contract work opportunities.
Education
· High school graduate or equivalent.
· Post-secondary construction- or industry- related education a plus.

Pay Range (based on experience and demonstrated skills): $18.00 - $28.00 per hour plus benefits.
