YOUR DAY AS AN EMPLOYEE TRAINING PARTNER
As an Employee Training Partner, you will start your day by preparing and conducting orientation sessions for newly hired employees, guiding them through the CARE agency practice model. Throughout the day, you will observe new hires in practice situations, offering real-time coaching on TCI techniques and CARE principles. You will document their progress, assess their readiness, and share your evaluations with their supervisors. Your role will also involve developing and refining training curricula, maintaining electronic training records, and ensuring compliance with training requirements. Collaboration is key, and you will work with program supervisors and Human Resources to address any training-related issues and support staff in utilizing job-specific data systems. Staying current on community training opportunities, you will inform staff of beneficial options and periodically travel to other sites to assist with training initiatives.
YOUR SCHEDULE
This full-time Employee Training Partner position offers a standard work schedule, with periodic travel to other agency sites. You will have the opportunity to work closely with various departments, ensuring that our new hires are well-prepared and supported in their roles.
REQUIREMENTS FOR AN EMPLOYEE TRAINING PARTNER

At least 21 years of age

Bachelor's degree from an accredited program in social work, related human services field or business, OR 3+ years of experience in a human service or business setting

Ability to become a CARE Educator and TCI Trainer, with the ability to pass TCI exams

Ability to understand the issues of trauma, separation, and loss for the child in care

Ability to provide service in a manner that reflects an appreciation for the cultural background, heritage, and identity of staff and clients

Valid driver's license and proof of automobile insurance
Eligibility for Child Welfare licensure by DCFS is preferred. Supervisory experience is also preferred.
