Functions as the departmental undergraduate program administrator; assists Director of Undergraduate Studies (DUS), Department Chair and Graduate Program Coordinator with planning instructional schedules and instructor assignments; schedules classrooms and educational resources consistent with curricular needs; assists DUS with evaluation and assessment of classes, including writing reports, evaluating data, entering assessment data in tracking system, and annual program assessment reporting; supports Department Chair with teaching inventory process; assists DUS with curriculum planning, development, changes and updates; attends meetings related to curriculum planning in the department and across campus; enters and completes on-line system changes in the master schedule for both undergraduate and graduate courses; answers undergraduate inquiries and advises them on departmental and university procedures; monitors enrollments and prepares reports and analysis of data; Director of Economics Learning Center, including hiring and scheduling of student employees for the Learning Center, front office and undergraduate graders, monitoring student employee attendance, and recruitment presentation activities; develops and maintains promotional materials and departmental communication materials to students, faculty and alumni; engages in undergraduate recruitment events; maintains undergraduate economics listservs; assists DUS and Chair with undergraduate scholarship program; other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. 2 years of relevant experience required. Experience in program planning and administration is required. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Suite required.

Master's Degree. Experience using the Student Information System and working with university student populations across diverse backgrounds strongly desired. Knowledge of university policies and procedures, as well as undergraduate degree program requirements is desired. Experience in the organization of program materials is desired. The successful applicant is expected to have excellent organizational and communication skills, both oral and written.
The pay range for this job profile is $22.69 - $29.83. The offer for this position will fall within this range based on internal equity, unit's available budget, and the candidate's qualifications.
