Engineer Essentials LLC, a leading training company in the engineering and machining industries, is seeking an experienced and proactive Sales Assistant to join our team on a contract basis. The successful candidate will play a critical role in responding to sales inquiries, qualifying prospective customers, and nurturing leads through personalized engagement. This person will act as the foundation of our sales process, setting the tone for a successful customer relationship.

Responsibilities:
· Provide timely and efficient responses to all inbound leads and offer general assistance.
· Deliver first-class sales service to buyers by thoroughly understanding their goals and pain points.
· Continuously follow up with inbound leads through emails and phone calls to maintain interest and advance them through the sales funnel.
· Assist leads who are prepared to discuss custom training plans and pricing by coordinating a meeting with the Account Manager.
· Identify and initiate conversations with new leads based on their engagement with our marketing, using various communication channels, including phone calls, direct emails, LinkedIn, etc.
· Develop and execute targeted campaigns and strategies aimed at prospecting key decision-makers at new and existing customer companies.
· Manage lead data within our CRM system (HubSpot) to ensure effective progression of the sales cycle.
· Evaluate the performance of the marketing funnel and apply strategies to boost inbound lead generation.
Additional Considerations:
· Strong tech savviness, particularly with CRM software, and sharp attention to detail. Advanced HubSpot expertise is preferred.
· We are looking for candidates who excel in a personalized sales approach for high-level decision-makers, not those who rely on high-volume cold calling or pushy sales tactics.
· Participation in industry tradeshows and events, with a willingness to travel 2-3 times a year.
Contractor (W9) role with future opportunity for direct hire within the company.
Pay: $20 - $25/Hr
