Role: Payroll Generalist

We are looking for a Payroll Generalist on a direct-hire basis.
Responsibilities:
- Perform payroll and Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) management.
- Process payroll for Compressor Engineering Corporation and CECO Pipeline Services Company; two (2) FEINs which include salaried and hourly employees in both companies.
- Utilize ADP Work Force Now and Spectrum Systems for processing payroll.
- Process payroll transactions, including management of earning codes (i.e. commissions, rig and truck pay, per diem, bonuses, etc.), deductions, one-time payroll transactions, and adjustments, including ADP Smart compliance for tax filings.
- Respond to and set up tax levies, garnishments, and child support court orders.
- Respond to federal and state payroll notices; assist with the preparation of audit requests.
- Set up state tax entities for SUI via ADP and manage multi-state setup for tax withholdings for employees, based on their individual state of residence.
- Manage the time and attendance systems against policies, serve as the point of contact for employees and management, maintain employee vacation and sick balances, and reset annual accruals.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in ADP.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 5-plus years of payroll experience.
