ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
- Track certifications and status of trainings
- Evaluates existing training programs; Conducts needs assessments to identify training options.
- Prepares reports on training plan results.
- Conducts follow up to determine applicability of course material.
- Oversees tracking, administration, audits, usage and application renewals
- Interacts with functional organizations to develop program guidelines and ensure compliance.
- Assist in communication of changes, updates, and new procedures to operators.
- May contract with outside vendors in the development and conduct of training programs.
- May coordinate employee participation in outside vendor training.
- Work flexible shifts as needed or requested.
- Maintain records of area operator certification status, track HSC certification, completion of New Employee Training Guides, and interface with Training Department to keep area matrix current.
- Responsible for planning, developing, and implementing training programs for employees.
- Prepares lesson plans including the method, media, and documentation to be presented.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Minimum of five years experience in procedures and process training, preferred in PCB manufacturing or related industry
2. Successfully complete the entire “Train the Trainer” course, sessions one and two, along with Technical Writing course.
3. The position requires the ability to asses learning progress, and to communicate effectively with Operators, Technicians, Lead Operators, Engineers, Supervisors, Managers, and Quality Departments.
4. The Training Technician will make recommendations for improved training and training materials, and accept and carry out change with a positive attitude.
5. Previous 6S experience
Knowledge: Procedures and process training or related experience in PCB manufacturing related operations; Microsoft Word, PowerPoint
Skill in: Excellent written and oral communication; strong interpersonal skills – good listener, seeks input from others, provide positive mentoring; organizational management – coordinate multiple training sessions/topics; effective time management
Ability to: Handle multiple tasks/projects; work independently and be a team player

Compensation for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, TTM provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that my be hired in New York, California and Colorado. For California-based roles, compensation ranges are based upon specific physical locations.
