Job Summary
ICO Companies, the premier commercial and multi-family real estate and investment firm in Utah, is seeking a Community Service Technician for ICO Vista Station, a beautiful brand new apartment community in Draper, UT.
Qualified Maintenance Technicians will preferably have at least a year of previous experience in property management maintenance. Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, painting, drywall, and appliance repair is helpful. We offer competitive pay and benefits, as well as opportunity for advancement. EOE.
Job Description:
- To provide assistance by performing general maintenance duties.
- Responsible for unsupervised, timely completion of occupied apartment service requests in accordance with predefined company and property standards.
- Responsible for all aspects of maintenance of the property, including resident satisfaction and contribution to property occupancy goals.
- Participates in preventive maintenance programs and ongoing maintenance and repair of all mechanical systems of the property, to preserve and maintain the asset.
- Keeping the grounds and common areas clean at all times.
- Handles “on call" duties whenever needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education and Job Requirements:
A high school diploma or equivalent and professional knowledge of business discipline are required.
- HVAC/R certification (HVAC & Refrigeration) preferred.
- Must be available for emergency calls on nights and weekends when needed.
- Ability to follow detailed oral/written instructions.
- Deliver SUPERIOR customer service.
- Ability to track and inventory material and parts.
