Our company is looking for passionate, innovative, and energetic Marketing and Events Assistant to join our Events and Digital Marketing team!
Participants will be expected to learn and perform the job duties of the position(s) within their assigned department. The Events Department offers practical experience in the production, promotion, and execution of local events of all sizes as well as constantly growing outlets of digital marketing and media in commercial real estate.
Job Description:
Primary Responsibilities include the following:
Marketing:
- Must show forward thinking, out of the box ideas and creativity in promoting our properties and events.
- Work closely with the sales team to dream up and host amazing promotional activities that'll get everyone buzzing.
- Dig into market research and spot the consumer trends that'll shape our next big moves. Finding new and innovative way to get our brand name out there.
- Social media posting and analyzing. Also creating effective social media campaigns.
- Work on different Website edits when needed.
- Posting events/deals on a multitude of digital outlets.
- Assist with all digital print marketing creation/campaigns (Canva, InDesign, Photoshop, etc.).
- Assistance in creating pitch decks, brochures, sponsorship opportunities, and more.
- Obtaining quotes from vendors that could assist brand awareness (SEO, marketing, etc.).
- Analyzing data from different campaigns and coming up with different strategies to optimize those campaigns.
- Obtaining and working with influencers to further market our company.
Events:
- Work closely with Marketing Director/Managers and various marketing teams within CL Investment’s to assist in all aspects of the planning and execution of all events.
- ·Assist the Events Director in creating and maintaining special events calendar to ensure continued revenue objectives are met and promotions/events are prepared for in a timely manner.
- Assist in managing departmental bookkeeping records for all events/spending
- Creating and collecting invoices, from all vendors and sponsors of events.
- Making calls and sending out emails
- Propose ideas to improve provided services and event quality.
- Proactively handle any arising issues and troubleshoot any emerging problems for events.
- Research market, identify event opportunities and generate interests.
- Joining zoom calls and meetings during and sometime after hours (time difference in some of our properties).
- Assist Marketing Manager in obtaining approval signatures, and submissions for all events with vendors and proper local city officials.
- Assist Marketing Manager in acquiring quotes necessary for promotional materials including but not limited to decorations, services, vendors, and gifts for the events and promotions.
- Working close with local nonprofits and creating different ways to bring different opportunites for them to collaborate with our company.
- Work closely with vendors and outside sources that are involved with the execution of the events.
- Work closely with tenants on any ideas they might need assistance with regarding their own businesses. Assisting in creating our accelloration program and more.
- Assist with creating events related to leasing on certain properties.
- Work with local businesses/vendors to create sponsorship opportunities.
- Attend weekly marketing meetings.
Other
- Light office administration work.
- Assist in creating office supply orders.
- Printing, creation of mail labels and mail drop off.
Qualifications
- Degree preferred in field of Marketing and events.
- High school diploma.
- 2 years experience in Marketing field preferred.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Self-starter who thrives in low-oversight environments.
- Must have a flexible schedule.
- Experience with Microsoft office.
- Experience with Canva, Photoshop, InDesign preferred.
- Attention to detail.
- Must have exceptional customer relations skills and innovative thinking for the development of promotions and events
- Experience in obtaining sponsorship or sales preferred
- Positive personality with the ability to influence business decision making regarding the effectiveness and value of our product and services.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Copywriting skills to create compelling event materials and communications
- Knowledge of email marketing platforms for event promotion and communication
Job Type: Part-time (20 hours)(with possibility of full time)
Salary: $24-26/hour
