Experience:
Process Technician (2nd Shift 3:00pm - 11:30pm) - 5+ Years Experience
Individual must demonstrate ability to perform all aspects of plastic injection mold processing including mold and material changes. Well versed with Husky injection molding machines or similar, linear 3-axis robots, familiarity with PP and PE resins and detailed understanding of decoupled and scientific molding. Working knowledge and hands on approach to general mechanical and electrical equipment related to the industry.
Highly automated mold changes include overhead cranes, magnetic platens, quick disconnect water manifolds and fast tie press knockouts.
IQMS Real Time machine monitoring, scheduling and reporting.
3 yrs. of supervisory experience required.
5 yrs. of experience processing plastic injection molding machines, Husky preferred.
Responsibilities:
Lead by example and provide guidance for all staff process technicians utilizing industry best practices.
Mold setting and machine operation, process optimization and documentation.
Startup jobs, assure conformance to specifications and piece part approval.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, with emphasis on proper line clearance practice.
Guide general labor force with methods for safe and efficient production and assembly.
This position is a hands-on role with combined technical and reporting directly to company management.
