Our rapidly growing team is currently looking for a dynamic person to fill the role of Plant Manager – USA. This position is a direct report to the VP of Operations.
KEY OBJECTIVES
- Manage the personnel and operations team at our Ohatchee plant
- Ensure the required availability of capacity and maintain a high level of quality
- Improve the plant’s layout to ensure high productivity
- Maintain an up-to-date continuous improvement action plan
- Implement and update procedures, processes, and work instructions for all areas under your responsibility
- Organize and lead meetings to empower employees and create a team spirit around continuous improvement
- Optimize the use of raw materials and reduce waste
- Ensure plant-wide safety and keep all documentation in order
- Do monthly follow-ups on dashboard objectives for departments under your responsibility
- Ensure the maintenance, cleanliness, and safety of premises as well as discipline in the departments under your responsibility
- Perform other tasks relating to quality assurance, health and safety, and team management
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 5 years of management experience within a manufacturing company
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Self-disciplined and self-motivated
- Strong planning and organizational skills
- Familiar with value-added production
- Strong focus on continuous improvement and customer service
