Position Summary
The Anti-Recidivism Coalition is seeking an experienced, energetic, and dependable self-starter to join its Inside Programs Department as the Inside Programs Data Coordinator. This position focuses on enhancing and developing rehabilitative and mentoring programming in facilities throughout California, preparing incarcerated youth and adults for reentry. The Inside Programs Data Coordinator will be responsible for data collection and management, ensuring accuracy in research and evaluation, and collaborating with ARC’s Learning and Innovation department. The ideal candidate will have experience data collection and management, bringing initiative and integrity to their work.
Essential Job Functions
- Collect and input data from Credible Messengers and HART Life Coaches.
- Prepare and complete DJJ and Probation monthly/quarterly reports.
- Provide and maintain accurate data and files of participants, both electronic and paper.
- Manage internal data collection software in partnership with the Learning and Innovation department to ensure security and data integrity.
- Collaborate with Learning and Innovation colleagues in establishing policies and procedures for sharing data and knowledge internally and externally.
- Create clear and concise visualization tools and dashboards to track programmatic outcomes to support program leaders.
- Assist ARC Credible Messengers with updating computer skills and use of technology.
- Perform other duties as needed by the Director of Inside Programs.
Qualifications
- Associate degree required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in data collection and management
- Experience with sorting, manipulating, and validating data within databases.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; Data Base management experience required.
- Excellent written, verbal, quantitative, and computer skills.
- Effectiveness working with diverse staff members.
- Demonstrated cultural humility and ability to communicate respectfully to all staff and willingness to support staff with data needs.
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
Salary/Benefits
- Pay rate is $24.04/hr to $27/hr. doe.
