We are looking to hire a Finance Manager to resume responsibility for the Accounting Department. The position will report directly to Owners and the Clinic Director
Requirements of the position
Produce timely and accurate billings, Account Receivable Reconciliation:
- Ability to generate invoices promptly and accurately.
- Skills in reconciling accounts receivable.
Complete all Payroll Audits, Final Adjustments and Processing In NPA Works and ADP:
- Proficiency in conducting payroll audits and making final adjustments.
- Experience in using payroll processing software like NPA Works and ADP.
Complete all billing procedures and audits for School Districts, Regional Centers, Insurance Companies, and 3rd Parties:
- Capability to handle billing procedures and audits for various entities.
- Experience in generating invoices and monitoring payments received.
- Experience with Office Ally and CMS 1500 Forms for Insurance
Handles any Garnishes, Salary, Terminations, Withholding, Start/Stop Payroll as necessary:
- Ability to manage various payroll-related tasks including garnishments, terminations, and withholding.
Entering/Modifying/Terminating All Authorizations in NPA Works:
- Proficiency in managing authorizations in NPA Works.
EOBs and Rebilling; Copays and coinsurance:
- Experience in handling Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) and rebilling processes.
- Understanding of copays and coinsurance procedures.
401k Management for Staff (ADP):
- Competency in managing 401k plans using ADP.
Generating/Auditing Insurance Claims:
- Skills in generating and auditing insurance claims.
Updating all Insurance Benefits:
- Ability to update and manage insurance benefits for employees.
Updating Official Classification Changes:
- Capability to update official classification changes as required.
Supporting Human Resource department:
- Experience in providing support to HR functions including recruiting, hiring, onboarding, retention, and managing employee benefits.
- Understanding of HR policies and procedures.
- Ability to assist with employee relations issues and conflict resolution.
Handle other related or new duties that are assigned by the Owners:
- Flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as assigned.
Interact with Owners as requested and maintain strictest confidentiality:
- Ability to communicate effectively with owners while maintaining confidentiality.
Qualifications
- General understanding of accounting principles.
- Bilingual in Spanish
- Familiarity with school district, health insurance, and regional center billing
- Accuracy and attention to detail are a must.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong sense of IT, with an understanding of the controls necessary to safeguard their financial and management information.
- Must be a proactive leader who is not afraid to confront tough issues before they become a serious problem.
- Must be proficient in QuickBooks and ADP payroll.
- Must be an expert in Excel and proficient in Microsoft Word.
- Experience with Human Resources including recruiting, hiring, onboarding, retention, and managing employee benefits.
- Proven organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and work well in an environment with ongoing demands.
- Must be able to multi-task and interact effectively with supervisory personnel, subcontractors and internal staff.
- BS in Accounting or Finance preferred
