Cornerstone Funeral & Cremation Services, an independently owned and operated funeral home based in Beaver Dam, is looking to hire a licensed funeral director & embalmer who will serve families with the same compassion and commitment that we have since our founding in 2007. An ideal candidate for this role is self-motivated, flexible, detail-oriented, and personable. Our positive, desirable workplace culture cultivates employees with a desire to maintain a meaningful role at Cornerstone, adding value to the lives of the families we serve. Relocating within our service area offers convenient access to a wide array of local activities and many other nearby, larger city amenities. We also operate an additional funeral home location 30 minutes away that serves the community of Markesan, a much smaller rural community.
Salary for this position is based on experience, starting at $50,000. With two additional full-time licensed funeral directors on staff and serving approximately 140 families per year, we offer a flexible work schedule, including one full weekday off prior to weekends on-call. During a calendar year, you will be on call 20 weekends and 2 weeknights per week (Mon - Thurs).
