JOB SUMMARY
This position will perform appropriate patient care at a competent level as directed by a provider, within the scope of approved skills according to the needs of the patients including rooming patients, taking vitals, documenting in patient medical record in accordance with policies/procedures.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Performs assigned tasks for patients as assigned.

Assists personnel in communication with physicians and healthcare team members to ensure quality of care.

coordinates schedules of diagnostic testing.

Considers the diverse needs of each patient, providing and ensuring the highest level of service according to established service standards, optimizing the patient experience.

Participates in collaborative identification and reporting of patient safety issues and ensures clean and safe patient environment.
REQUIREMENTS

High School Diploma or GED
-
1-3 Yrs in Medical Facility
-
Bilingual
-
Certified as a Medical Assistant by the Texas Department of Health.

Current BLS
-
COVID 19 Vaccination
EDUCATION

Accredited school for C’NA, Certified as a medical Assistant by the Texas Department of Health.
