A Little Bit About the Position
Join Gemini Legal as a Product Owner I, where you'll play a pivotal role in the delivery of valuable and high-functioning products. You'll be responsible for gathering feature requests, scheduling releases, and coordinating sprints, all while identifying user needs and communicating effectively with stakeholders. Your work will align with our company's vision, ensuring that every product improvement drives us closer to our strategic goals.
As a Product Owner I, you'll collaborate closely with internal and external users to analyze needs, align product roadmaps, and draft key objectives and strategies. Your ability to solve product-related problems, make informed decisions, and conduct trade-off analysis will keep us on track to meet business deliverables. You'll stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and new technological opportunities, all while maintaining a prioritized backlog of user stories for implementation.

Location: Remote (must reside within one of the following states: AL, CA, FL, HI, MN, MT, NC, NJ, NM, NV, OH, OR, PA, TN, TX, WA)

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm PST

Compensation: $75,000-$99,000 per annum
-
Travel: Travel may be required for this position up to 10% of working hours. Travel will be required only when the need to perform discovery with clients or vendors cannot be done via Zoom. Occasional travel for relevant conference opportunities or work functions. Must be willing to travel if such opportunities arise.
Requirements:
- Maintain a Certified Scrum Product Owner from the Scrum Alliance or other Gemini-approved training organization

1+ year(s) of experience in project or product related roles such as Business Analyst, Project Coordinator, etc.

Scrum experience a plus

Workers’ compensation legal experience a plus

Legal support experience a plus

Follow Lean principles, flowchart processes, and value stream mapping understanding (training provided)

Employ excellent time management, organizational skills, and self-motivation in balancing and handling multiple duties concurrently

Ability to analyze, think quickly, and resolve conflicts

Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including, but not limited to, attendance, dress code and professionalism

Professionally and objectively conduct root cause analysis of issues as they arise to cultivate a problem-solving culture

Demonstrate discipline to follow all active processes to ensure standardization

Demonstrate accuracy and consistency within work assignments

Exceptional presentation and communication skills

Proficient using project management tools such as Asana, Jira, Pivotal Tracker, etc.

Satisfactory working knowledge of wireframing and prototyping tools such as Figma, Lucidchart, Balasmiq, etc.

Proficient in Google Apps preferred (or Microsoft Office)

Ability to understand and interpret complex documents such as contracts and law

Basic HIPAA understanding
