Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Delivery and set up of equipment. Includes uncrating, loading, unloading, and set-in-place installation (no plumbing or electrical).
- Services may include leveling, installing shelves, drilling, cutting holes, and finishing with silicone.
- Interact professionally and courteously with customers, general contractors, other laborers, etc. on job sites.
- Drive company vehicle to make customer deliveries and stock pick-ups, obeying traffic laws and safety procedures.
- Perform all duties in a safe and responsible manner, following all safety rules. Inform manager of any potentially hazardous conditions.
- Perform other responsibilities as directed.
Requirements:Minimum Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid state driver license with clean driving record (no CDL required).
- Must be 18 years or older, 21 and older to enter some of our customer locations.
- Flexible work schedule (which may include nights, weekends, holidays and long hours) and regular attendance is necessary with possibility for mandatory overtime. Occasional travel necessary with overnight stays.
- Mechanically inclined, with the ability to use hand and power tools.
- Previous experience in moving, construction or finishing work is a plus.
- Good communication skills, both written and oral.
- Maintains a professional image, and is always thoughtful, neat, and courteous.
- Positive attitude, reliable, dependable, and punctual.
- Must complete a DOT physical a minimum of every two years.
- Must clear pre-employment screening upon a contingent offer.
Physical Requirements
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands and arms to finger, handle, feel, or carry; reach with hands and arms.
- Occasionally required to sit; climb or balance or stoop; kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Frequently required to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
- Constant use of hand truck, forklift and pallet jack.
- Must be able to safely tolerate heat or other inclement weather.
