Summary
To provide support to schools managed by Academica Nevada through management of teacher recruitment and criminal background check coordination.
Responsibilities
Teacher Recruitment responsibilities (not exhaustive):
1. Organize and conduct teacher-hiring fairs biannually in the fall and spring.
2. Recommend national teacher fairs for schools to attend.
3. Be willing to attend and recruit teachers at national hiring fairs.
4. Maintain an online application system for all interested teacher candidates.
5. Collect and update teacher openings at all schools.
6. Post and maintain any school openings on all online platforms including Indeed and Academica Nevada website.
7. Create and maintain a database of all licensed teachers including license information and expiration dates.
8. Notify and assist licensed teachers as needed when licensure is within expiration/renewal date.
9. Assist teachers with licensing questions.
10. Assist foreign teachers with licensing issues.
11. Assist, as needed, with annual state licensing reports.
12. Coordinate all marketing materials for teacher recruiting including all schools and Academica.
13. Maintain clear lines of communication with all school principals and APs.
14. Create and administer teacher climate surveys as directed by principals and executive directors as needed in addition to state administered climate surveys.
15. Collect and maintain data on teacher retention, hiring fairs, teacher exit interviews, and other data as needed.
16. Continue good relationships with surrounding universities and teacher preparation programs to facilitate a teacher pipeline.
17. Assist in creating and coordinating student teaching and practicum opportunities in the schools.
18. Generate Professional Development certificates for teachers in Infinite Campus.
Criminal Background Check Coordination responsibilities (not exhaustive):
1. Serve as a liaison between Livescan vendor and Academica Nevada supported schools.
2. Maintain database of fingerprinting for all Academica Nevada supported schools.
3. Maintain file of fingerprinting requests/waivers for each school.
4. Maintain confidential files of CHRI’s for each school.
5. Ensure that all procedures are followed as outlined in the Fingerprinting Procedures for each school.
6. Maintain updated list of Authorized Users for background reviews.
7. Review background reports and work with legal, as needed, to determine eligibility using the Moral Turpitude Matrix.
8. Notify schools of eligibility of employees/volunteers.
Requirements/Preferences
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Knowledge of education field or degree in education preferred.
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrate the ability to provide exceptional customer service.
Ability to work with administration, faculty, and community.
Previous customer service experience.

Salary range: $55,000 - $65,000
