JOB SUMMARY:
The Security Account Manager is accountable for day-to-day operations of an assigned client site or sites. Manages a team of security officers, site and/or shift supervisors. Provides training, coaching, performance management, support, and retention of staff. Builds, improves, and maintains relationships with clients and employees, coordinates needed support services and solves problems to effectively run the site(s). Provides after-hour emergency response as required.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Assure regular, proactive communication with site, listen to client issues, provide security and technical expertise and solutions, ensure complete customer satisfaction.
- Handle any escalated security issues or emergency situations appropriately
- Develop staff in both technical and professional skills through performance management (coaching, counseling, disciplining, training, recognition, etc.)
- Assure communication of policies, company announcements and job openings at each site
- Meet all contractual scheduled hours with a minimum of unbilled overtime
- Coordinate and/or conduct site-specific OJT, client-specific training, and annual refresher training for security personnel.
- Develop / maintain operational procedures so that valid, site-specific post orders are always available for emergency reference by the security staff.
- Capably utilize TrackTik for scheduling, reporting, documentation.
- Enforce Company policies as outlined in the handbook, executive memos and on the TrackTik site.
JOB SKILLS:
- Proven work experience as operations manager or similar role
- Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management

- Degree in Business, Operations Management, or related field
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree plus at least 3 years of general management experience in the security services industry; military or law enforcement experience is preferred
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or authorized to legally work in the United States
- Must be at least 21 years old or the minimum age
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to develop and grow customer relationships
- Experience in hiring, developing, motivating, and retaining quality staff
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, complex situations, a diverse team of
- employees and client requirements on an ongoing basis
- Ability to work in a team-oriented management environment while having an entrepreneurial attitude
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Physically able to perform all general patrol duties, functions, and activities
- Occasionally bend/twist at waist/knees/neck to perform various duties
- Standing, walking, sitting, stooping, kneeling, climb (running when necessary)
- Ability to work in extreme weather like rain, snow, and extreme heat or cold
- Must possess good vision, depth perception, distinguish basic colors
- Ability to listen and communicate effectively through clear speech and hearing
- Must be able to pass drug screening and Background
