We are looking an Orthodontics for a Cosmetic Dental Practice, where the goal is deliver perfect smile while protecting the dental health and long-term integrity, using state-of-the-art technology and the best and most caring dental professionals, working based on ethical principles and always showing respect and appreciation for the patients.
Bilingual in Spanish and English is a must.
- 7 hour shift/ Once per month
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Must have exceptional patient service skills and a strong commitment to being an active part of the dental team.
- Passion for providing excellent care and quality dental treatment is a must.
- Ability to educate patients and show them the benefits of the different treatments.
- Responsible to restore and maintain the patient's oral cavity in an optimum state without jeopardizing their health
- Comprehensive knowledge of dental procedures, tools, and diagnostics
- Maintaining records relating to the oral health of patients and the treatment given to them
- Ability to connect with patients and building trust with excellent communication skills and compassion.
- Willing to improve or/ and learn the technique of Express Braces Procedure.
Responsibilities
- Treat occlusion issues and other oral conditions
- Instruct assistants on orthodontic procedures and techniques
- Collaborate with other specialists, such as dentists and oral surgeons, to coordinate orthodontic services within a patient’s overall treatment plan
- Fit patients for various orthodontic appliances
- Schedule regular checkups with patients to make adjustments to orthodontic appliances, such as tightening braces, and track patient progress
- Educate patients about ongoing orthodontic care and explaining proper oral hygiene methods for good oral health.
Requirements and skills
- Proven work experience as an Orthodontist or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of various molds and orthodontic appliances
- Experience using hand tools (periodontal scalers, band pluggers, cutters, pliers) and diagnostic tools (digital X-rays, 3D images)
- Superb dexterity and hand-eye coordination
- Outstanding patient management abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Relevant training and/or certifications as an Orthodontist
Bilingual in Spanish and English is a must.
