The Opportunity
Lightbridge Academy Fort Washington is seeking a dedicated, dependable, and creative Lead PreK Teacher to join the team. The ideal candidate is someone who is inquisitive and passionate about care and education. Lightbridge Fort Washington is a place to learn and grow within your education career!
What Will You Do
- Coordinate and implement educational curriculum by developing classroom activities based on developmentally appropriate practices and early learning standards with the Seedlings curriculum.
- Observe and assess students for creating and maintaining individual profiles, portfolios and parent conferences, and adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students' varying needs and interests.
- Maintain frequent communications with parents.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment and follow all safety procedures at all times.
- Ensure a smooth, daily transition from home to child care center.
- Follow all center policies and state regulations.
- Maintain a personal professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement.
Qualifications
- Associates Degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or related field with a minimum of 30 Credits in ECE Required
- Minimum of 2 year experience working in childcare
- First Aid & CPR certified or willing to get certified within 90 days of hire
- A team-oriented player with a positive, professional attitude
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
License/Certification:
- CPR Certification (Preferred)
- Child Development Associate Certification (Preferred)
