Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Nursing to join our team. As the Director of Nursing, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all nursing activities within our organization. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest level of patient care and safety.
Duties:
- Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff, including training, mentoring, and performance evaluations
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Monitor and evaluate patient outcomes, making adjustments to care plans as necessary
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities
- Oversee the management of nursing schedules, ensuring adequate coverage at all times
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care delivery
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in medical technology and best practices in nursing
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field required; Master's degree preferred
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a healthcare setting
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, and documentation review
- Experience in shift management and scheduling preferred
- Familiarity with assisted living, home health, or long-term care settings is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively supervise and motivate a team

Pay: $150,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
