Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Makes critical decisions for the repair of mechanical and electrical issues
Perform all maintenance administration duties
Payroll and attendance for Maintenance employees
Conduct company business with contractors
Schedule all OEM repairs and planned downtime
Obtain repair estimates and project planning
Provide monthly maintenance expense reports to site director
Attend Tier I meetings and all other meetings when invited
Performs mechanical/electrical troubleshooting by reading and interpreting blueprints
Controls preventative maintenance program for each department
Understand and input information into maintenance software
Supervise, train, and evaluate maintenance employees
Participates in cost savings measures is a must
Oversee the installation, calibration, and testing of new equipment
Collaborate with production managers to optimize equipment performance and production processes
Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and company policies
Implement corrective actions to address safety concerns and prevent accidents
Responsible for all Maintenance documents and procedures
Perform safety audits of the Maintenance shop and team members
Identify opportunities for process improvements and equipment upgrades
Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives and projects
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in carton printing technology
