Job Overview: Cross Country Workforce Solutions Group is seeking a dynamic and experienced Geriatric Psychiatric Program Manager to lead our dedicated team. Leadership and Administration:
- Provide visionary leadership to the geriatric psychiatric department, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Oversee and coordinate the daily operations of the department to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
- Collaborate with the Program Director to implement strategic initiatives and achieve departmental goals.
Patient Care Management:
- Ensure that patient care meets or exceeds federal, state, and local standards, as well as hospital policies and procedures.
- Supervise and evaluate the delivery of psychiatric care to elderly patients, addressing their unique emotional, social, and medical needs.
- Work closely with the medical staff, nursing personnel, and other department supervisors to maintain the highest quality of care.
Qualifications:
- Current license to practice as a registered nurse (RN) in California.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a leadership role, including the Charge Nurse role, within an acute care setting.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate required.
- Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (CPI) training and certification required within six (6) months of hiring.
- In-depth knowledge of psychiatric care, including familiarity with regulatory and compliance standards.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a multidisciplinary team.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $120,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
