Curriculum & Course Developer writes, updates, and maintains training curriculum used in the classroom and online learning to support educational services provided to areas.
EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Technical Writing or related field. In lieu of degree, five (5) years' instructional development, technical writing, training or other equivalent experience will be considered.
EXPERIENCE
Minimum three (3) years' curriculum development or training experience.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS & ABILITIES
Strong proficiency in using Word, PowerPoint, and eLearning development software.

Analyzes requests, survey results, and other needs-data to recommend most effective solutions which may or may not be training., Collaborates with subject matter experts to develop training materials that support needs and objectives., Develops interactive eLearning modules to integrate into classes and serve as online resources., Leads and/or serves on project teams., Organizes and maintains curriculum files., Performs other duties as assigned., Recommends and implements most effective method of design, media, and delivery to meet learning needs and objectives., Remains up-to-date on changes related to adult learning, curriculum and eLearning development including researching best practices., Writes comprehensive learning objectives and analyzes effectiveness based on outcomes., Writes training curriculum including detailed facilitator guides and corresponding content for training materials (workbooks, PowerPoint, online reference, etc.).
