Pay Details: $140K-$185K

Job Responsibilities
-
Supervise, coordinate, train and monitor a project management team through the planning, design, and construction or renovation projects using fundamental leadership and project management “Best Practices”.

Work and lead a project team with the development and maintaining project scope, schedule and budget using computer applications and approved process.

Develop a regional or divisional operating budget to include staffing, labor, travel, office expenses, and the like to roll up into the company budget.

Report on regional or division performance on a monthly basis to include financial, expenses vs budget, staffing, growth projections, controllable and uncontrollable expenses and a variance report on a monthly basis.
- Review and assign projects and oversee the development of a Request for Proposals through completed contract documents supervising each project team.

Oversee the construction teams Support of the Development Manager by assisting with property condition assessments, interviewing and hiring of professional services for each assigned project.
- Support and manage allocated project funds for each team’s project. Maintain good stewardship of these funds.

Support assigned Development Manager for any new construction and renovation needs.
- Document and report on teams status of scope, schedule and budget changes throughout construction using established software (Procore, Yardi & Smartsheet).
- Work with the regional or divisional team to develop and maintain a list of qualified Architects, Engineers and Construction Contractors.
- Travel to DevCo project sites and perform on-site inspections and conduct project related oversite and compliance meetings as needed.

Complete assigned tasks by deadlines and communicate any obstacles with your supervisor in advance.
Experience
-
4-year degree in a construction related field or commensurate field experience.

7-10 + years’ work experience in construction project management with proven ability to use multiple types of software to efficiently manage projects.
- 3-5 years’ work experience in multi-family construction industry recommended.
- 5+ years of managing a team of 3+ members.

Developing and managing operating budgets as creating variance reports is highly desired.

Must be able to speak, read and write English in a manner sufficient to carry out duties.
- Successful completion of background check and drug screen required.
- Must be legally qualified to work in the U.S. meeting I-9 guidelines.
