Key Responsibilities:
- Perform fundamental engineering tasks including strength of material problems, stress analysis, and combined loading problems.
- Enhance existing products to meet customer requirements.
- Create engineering layouts for fit, form, and function checking.
- Prepare design packages and detailed drawings.
- Coordinate prototype manufacturing and conduct experimental test programs.
- Analyze test data to ensure products meet technical specifications.
- Develop new products and services and participate in failure analysis.
- Utilize design tools and computer-driven engineering software for complex analysis.
- Coordinate technical developments, scheduling, budgeting, and problem resolution.
- Provide proactive design guidelines and solutions to prevent possible failure modes.
What You Bring
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology or Mechanical Engineering.
- 6+ years of mechanical engineering/project management experience.
- Project management experience in new product development and platform enhancement.
- 6+ years of downhole experience.
Preferred:
- Experience with Creo/Pro-E, FEA/CFD.
- 6+ years of oil field experience.
- Passed the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam (FE).
- Membership in professional societies such as SPE or ASME.
