Overview:
The Manager of Employee Occupational Health and Safety (EOHS) Nursing is responsible for overseeing EOHS services in a specific area (Acute, Ambulatory and Post-Acute Care) or specific program/service (i.e onboarding/preplacement, case management, vaccination programs, surveillance, screening, assessments, exposures, respiratory protection etc.). This includes overseeing services for all types of workers and contracts (employees, volunteers, non-employee workers, physicians, students, resident and trainees).
This position oversees nursing activities, and ensures compliance with regulatory and accreditation, as well as FV policies and procedures. This includes supervising day-to-day operations, including staffing, productivity, communication, education, individual goal setting, monitoring and performance reviews.
This position reports to the System Director of Employee Health and Safety, and partners with EOHS Medical Director, other EOHS/Injury Prevention Supervisor/s, Infection Prevention, Facilities, HR, Credentialing and others to implement system screening, surveillance, exposure control plans, programs, policies and standards
Schedule: This position will be working 1.0 FTE (80 hours every two weeks). The shift length will be 8 hours on the day shift Mon-Fri.

Responsibilities/Job Description:
- Coordinates comprehensive orientation of new staff.
- Maintains and monitors the productivity level of staff to maximize efficiency, assure adequate staffing levels, and control costs

Qualifications:
Qualifications
Registered Nurse (R.N.) with a degree from an accredited school of nursing- Minimum of two years occupational health management experience
- 3+ years of leadership experience
- Experience leading and implementing working on large complex projects
- Prior experience and knowledge working with OSHA, Joint Commission, MDH, CDC
- Ability to effectively work independently and in a team environment
- Active R.N. license in the state of Minnesota
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s in Nursing, Public Health, or other related health field- LEAN, Supervision, Occupational Health in health care setting
- Certified Occupational Health Nurse (COHN)
