Uptown Animal Hospital & Urgent Care is a combined small animal general practice and Urgent care that provides excellent medical care for our patients. Our urgent care bridges the gap between general care and emergent care so that time sensitive conditions can be handled before they become emergencies.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Veterinarian to join our Urgent Care or ER teams. As a Veterinarian, you will provide high-quality medical care to a variety of animals, including dogs, cats, and other small animals. Your expertise and dedication will contribute to the overall health and well-being of our patients.
Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive physical examinations on animals
- Diagnose and treat various medical conditions and illnesses
- Administer vaccinations, health certificates, and medications as needed
- Conduct surgeries and other medical procedures
- Provide guidance and education to pet owners on proper animal care and nutrition
- Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure efficient patient care
- Maintain accurate medical records for all patients
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in veterinary medicine
Requirements:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited veterinary school
- Valid state veterinary license
- ER opportunities available to right person
- management opportunity available to the right person
- Medical Directorship possible for right person
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with pet owners and staff
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Passion for providing exceptional veterinary care
