Essential Functions:
- Provides exceptional customer service by completing transactions and providing information on products and services to customers over multiple contact channels.
- Maintains a high level of professionalism and rapport with every customer, client, and co-worker.
- Conducts thorough research and follows up to identify and resolve customer issues promptly.
- Ability to multi-task and toggle between multiple windows while speaking with the customer and maintaining composure.
- Serves as an administrative expert on Paper Mart Delivery Services functions in the Road Net Anywhere (RNA) software to ensure timely and accurate shipping of Paper Mart Delivery Services orders.
- Assist and support drivers upon return to the facility and report any issues that may have been encountered while on route as continuous improvement opportunities.
Data Entry and Documentation:
- Accurately enter and maintain transportation-related data in databases and spreadsheets.
- Prepare and process shipping and receiving documentation, including bills of lading and shipping labels.
- Organize and maintain electronic and physical records for transportation activities.
Communication and Coordination:
- Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate shipments.
- Communicate effectively with drivers and provide necessary information for timely deliveries.
- Assist in resolving transportation-related issues and discrepancies.
Scheduling and Routing:
- Assist in scheduling transportation activities, including pickups and deliveries.
- Optimize delivery routes and minimize transit times according to the daily volume.
- Monitor and update delivery schedules as needed.
Administrative Support:
- Provide general administrative support to the transportation team.
- Assist in the preparation of reports and correspondence.
- Coordinate meetings and maintain calendars for transportation team members when needed.
Quality Assurance:
- Assist in tracking and reporting on the quality and performance of transportation services.
- Collaborate with the quality control team to address any issues related to transportation.
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday from 11:00 am - 7:30 pm.
Qualifications:
- Ability to learn multiple programs, research issues, articulate the solution and execute tasks with efficiency.
- 1-year of dispatching experience and customer support
- Experience using Live Chat communication.
- Basic Computer Skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, Microsoft office)
Skills
- Thorough competency with RNA (Road Net Anywhere: Preferred)
- Proficiency in the use of telephone, chat, internet, etc.
- Analytical troubleshooting/ problem solving.
- Good communication skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
