ROLE SUMMARY
The Asset Protection (AP) Field Supervisor works in the field and manages the day-to-day operations for Asset Protection Agents assigned to various clients. This includes but not limited to client relationships, recruiting, interviewing, and training of new employees, as well as professional and performance development of existing employees, etc.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
· Adhere to and enforce all Vigilant Asset Protection directives, policies, and procedures
· Adhere to and enforce to Company standards as stated in departmental training manual
· Perform all delegated tasks assigned by Asset Protection Regional Manager
- Serves as client liaison responding to all questions and complaints in a timely manner.
- Recruiting and interviewing of new candidates
- Offer appropriate solutions to the identified problems.
- Supervise the daily operations.
- Conduct regular site visits.
- Ensure that the employees are following safe work practices and company standards.
- Enforce disciplinary and behavioral standards for the employees.
- Monitor operations, identify, and resolve problems.
- Maintain the employee records (schedules, attendance and disciplinary)
- Manage training of new employees and provide updated training to ensure smooth, continuous and result driven operations.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
· Must be at least 18 years old.
· Must have the ability to problem solve and provide solutions.
· High School diploma or equivalent; some college preferred
· 3 years or more of experience within the asset protection industry
· Excellent written / verbal communication skills
· Professional, positive, and pro-active approach with all levels of communication (asset protection team members, clients, client associates and client customers)
· Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
· Must be detail oriented, highly motivated, and a self-starter.
· Able to stand and/or walk for long periods of time, both inside and outdoors
· Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, holidays, and weekends.
· Able to pass a thorough background screen, including criminal background check.
Salary
The salary of an area supervisor highly depends upon experience and is negotiable.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 45 per week
