We are currently seeking a diligent and reliable Dishwasher to join our kitchen team. The role is essential in Maintaining our high standards of cleanliness and ensuring a smooth flow of kitchen operations.
Dishwashing: Operate industrial dishwashing equipment to clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and other kitchen equipment.- Organization: Ensure that all dishes are properly sorted, stacked, and stored in designated areas to maintain an efficient and organized workspace.
- Assist Kitchen Staff: Support kitchen staff in the timely preparation and plating of dishes by providing them with clean and sanitized tools and equipment.
- Adherence to Standards: Follow established sanitation and safety procedures to maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Equipment Maintenance: Report any malfunctioning equipment to the Chef or front-of-house Manager and assist in basic maintenance tasks.
- Trash Removal: Regularly empty and dispose of kitchen trash and recycling, keeping trash bins clean and odor-free.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other kitchen team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and contribute to a positive and collaborative working environment.
- Training: You will be trained by the Chef and Dishwashing Supervisor. You will also take direction from other cooks to provide the tools and dishes that they need in an appropriate manner. Occasionally you will be given tasks to prep in the kitchen.
