Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Social Media Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive social media strategy that drives engagement, builds brand awareness, and increases customer loyalty. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in social media marketing, graphic design, and video editing. This role requires a detail-oriented and results-driven individual who can effectively manage relationships with our customers, create visually appealing content, and analyze campaign performance.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a social media strategy that aligns with our company's goals and objectives
- Create and curate engaging and relevant content for our social media platforms
- Design and edit visual content, including graphics, photos, and videos, using tools like Canva
- Manage and schedule content using Hootsuite or other social media management tools
- Engage with our audience by responding to comments, messages, and reviews in a timely and professional manner
- Monitor and analyze social media metrics, including engagement rates, follower growth, and website traffic
- Identify and capitalize on social media trends and opportunities to increase brand visibility and customer engagement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, communications, and sales, to ensure a cohesive brand message across all channels
- Stay up-to-date with the latest social media best practices and platform changes
Skills
- Proficiency in social media marketing and social media management tools
- Strong graphic design and video editing skills
- Experience with Hootsuite or other social media management tools
- Ability to create visually appealing content using Adobe Creative Suite
- Excellent relationship management skills, with the ability to engage with our audience and build brand loyalty
- Familiarity with photography and the ability to take high-quality photos for social media
- Ability to analyze campaign performance and adjust strategy accordingly
- Knowledge of web design and the ability to create a strong online presence for our brand
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in social media marketing or a related field
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
