Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Supervisor Nursing - Labor and Delivery to join our team. The ideal candidate will oversee the nursing staff, ensuring high-quality patient care and adherence to protocols and procedures.
Duties:
- Supervise and coordinate nursing staff activities
- Provide guidance, support, and training to nursing team members
- Monitor patient care plans and update as necessary
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards
- Assist in patient assessments and care as needed
- Collaborate with medical staff to optimize patient outcomes
Skills:
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills:
- Experience as a registered nurse
- Proficiency in tube feeding and memory care
- Knowledge of aseptic techniques and phlebotomy
- Ability to perform vital signs assessment and venipuncture
- Familiarity with emergency medicine practices
- Previous experience in a Level II Trauma Center is a plus
- Strong medical documentation skills
