Position Overview:
The Employee Health Coordinator is a Nurse who assists the Employee Health Department by providing support to employees, contract employees and non-employee groups. The EH Coordinator will utilize established protocols and current standards of care to meet the health care needs of the employee population.
Essential Job Functions:
- Completes Employee Health duties per organization policy and department protocols

Performs new hire assessment and immunization review

Order, review and follow up of new hire labs

Maintains ReadySet Employee Health software system to support complete and accurate employee health records

Monitors employee work-related illness and injuries

Perform communicable disease exposure follow up

Performs bloodborne pathogen exposure assessment, treatment, and follow-up

Participates in preventive screening and surveillance programs (TB testing, influenza, COVID-19, and other appropriate immunizations)

Maintains and ensures confidentiality of patient information and medical records

Attention to detail, information accuracy and service excellence
Other Job Functions:
- Attend staff meetings or other company meetings as required

Ability to work off-hours when required

Perform additional duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications:
- Licensed Vocational/Professional Nurse licensure

1+ year acute care nursing

1+ year experience in Employee Health or Medical Office setting preferred

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook), required

Position requires fluency in English, written and oral communication
