Our Direct Support Professionals (DSP) are vital positions responsible for overseeing the overall happiness and support for each individual with developmental disabilities we serve. Each Direct Support Professional must have a heart for helping others, creative skills in supporting adults with developmental disabilities within their strengths, while managing the needs and assistance within the individual plan.
Responsibilities and Duties
Primary job functions are to ensure the health, safety & welfare of the persons with whom you serve and ensure the involvement of the individuals into their community. The employee will provide experiences that allow the individuals to develop to his/her fullest potential in the areas of self-direction, independent living, self-care, self-sufficiency, language learning & mobility using the Individual Plan structure. Hourly pay is adjusted according to each person's experience and training.
Qualifications and Skills
- Must have high school or GED equivalent diploma
- Valid driver's license & in good standing
- Pass background & drug screen
- Possess clear communication verbal and written skills
- Attend required new hire training before assignment
- First Aid, CPR, Med Cert, a plus but not required before hiring
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.25 - $18.00 per hour

Education:
- High school or equivalent (Required)

- Caregiving: 1 year (Preferred)
