Front Desk Agent
Job Description:
The Front Desk Agent will be responsible for providing a welcoming, engaging and efficient guest experience in accordance with our standards and the Happy Bay brand. This position will serve as the first point of contact for all of our Bay City, TX locations and work directly with guests to ensure a positive experience.
Job Responsibilities:
- Greet guests upon their arrival at the hotel and provide helpful and knowledgeable information about location, property features, events and other topics.
- Work to ensure optimal utilization of hotel amenities, including managing reservations, booking flights and hotels, answering phones, and providing other services to guests.
- Maintain accurate guest files and logs in-appliance software, as well as computerize them as more technology is implemented.
- Respond to all phone calls, emails, messages or other forms of communication with promptness and accuracy.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous customer service experience in a hotel or restaurant preferred.
- Strong verbal communication skills required.
- Basic computer skills needed to manage reservations, book flights and reservations, manage emails and messages, and create/update files/folders using the computer system.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $11.00 - $12.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
